In the past twenty-four years of our existence, we have passed on our beliefs and customs to new generations of Sigma Lambda Beta men. With in this time, much has and continues to change as new understandings manifest themselves in our old traditions.

Growing up I was told that you should not judge a book by its cover, but growing up in a historically underprivileged and segregated community dimmed any illumination. In my community, our stereotypes became a guide for accepting the ways things were and our disunity was a result of not understanding our commonalities.
